My name is Kitty Fellowes, I am 14 and I attend St. Mary's School in Shaftesbury.

I am joining an expedition to Vietnam in 2014 with  my school and Outlook expeditions. A requirement to taking part in the expedition is that the full cost is met by the participants through fund raising, which is why I have decided to organize the Glitterball.

I would also like to share any profits from this event with a  local charity called 'Childrens Chance'  who  are based in  Salisbury www.childrenschance.co.uk.  This is a small  charity run by Jane Miller in her free time and is currently celebrating it's 15th year. The charity helps local less fortunate children in the area experience opportunities whcih they may not otherwise undertake due to financial restraints. This could be to go on the school outing, learn a musical instrument or indeed participate in an expediton similar to the one I am joining.

I hope you can come on the 18th December, it think it will be a fantastic start to Christmas!

Thank you for supporting the Glitterball.
